Manufacturing details of the Marlin Original Model 410

- About 5,500 of the original version were produced and all were standard without extras. Barrel lengths were either 22-inch or 26-inch.

- Cartridges: .410 x 2" or 2-1/2" Shotshell
- Notes: The original version is based on the Model 1893 action with a longer loading port, modified tube magazine that holds 5 shots and a smoothbore barrel chambered for the .410 shot shell with improved cylinder choke. Unmarked barrel with a single bead front sight and "Marlin/410" marked on the upper tang. Mounted with a smooth finger groove forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered Marlin buttplate. Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches.
