Manufacturing details of the Marlin Model 336A

- The first issue model was like the 336C except it had a 24" barrel and a forearm tip instead of the carbine barrel band.
- Available from: 1948 to 1962, Re-issued in 1973 to 1980
- Cartridges: .30-30, .32 Spl, & .35 Remington added in 1953
- Notes: The rifle had a two-thirds tubular magazine that held six cartridges. The second issue sported a 1/2 magazine tube holding five cartridges.
